Cristina is a physical therapist at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD focusing primarily on rehabilitation for the oncology population. She obtained her doctorate at The George Washington University and adores our nation's capital for it's art, culture, architecture, and beautiful hiking trails. She is passionate about total mind and body wellness and the importance of the modern healthcare provider to consider the patient as a complete person not just an illness or injury. Ever true to her undergraduate alma matter's motto:

Crescat scientia; vita excolatur

Since graduating from the University of Chicago in 2006, Cristina enriches her life with the pursuit of knowledge in all aspects of her life. Cristina's journey has taken her to explore the fields of archaeology, anthropology, computer animation, fine art restoration, and the health sciences. She is always looking for intersections and parallels between all of these loves. Cristina enjoys creating art and seeking beauty in the world around her.

With a father working for the Department of Defense; traveling and exploring the world was a value instilled at a young age. Moving from the United States to Okinawa, Japan as a child and then to Germany as teenager gave Cristina an insatiable wanderlust. Over the last few years, she has enjoyed exploring the United States and has found a particular connection to Ithaca & Brooklyn, NY and her current home in Baltimore, MD.

An avid cyclist, runner, and yogi; Cristina loves the feeling of her heart pounding after a good race or the copious amount of sweat dripping on her mat after Tuladandasana. Indoors, you can often find Cristina enjoying a game of Settlers of Catan or Puerto Rico with her friends, watching her favorite Bergman or Kurosawa films, playing piano, or painting and listening to the musician d'jour.
